Creating a Google Drive for your patterns.

Here's a simple guide for creating a Google Drive and organizing sewing patterns into folders:

We suggest using a laptop or desktop for this process rather than a phone or tablet.

1. **Create a Google Account:**
- If you don't have one, sign up for a Google Account.
- If you have one, log in to your Google Account.

2. **Access Google Drive:**
- Open your web browser and go to Google Drive by visiting drive.google.com. You can also access it by going to your menu tab.

3. **Create a New Folder:**
- Click on the "+ New" button on the left side.
- Select "Folder" from the dropdown menu.
- Name your folder, e.g., "Sewing Patterns."

4. **Upload Sewing Patterns:**
- Open the folder you created.
- Click on the "+ New" button again and select "File upload."
- Choose your sewing patterns from your computer to upload them to the folder.

5. **Organize Patterns:Within your "Sewing Patterns" folder, you can create subfolders for different categories (e.g., Tops, Bottoms, Accessories).
- To create a subfolder, right-click on the main folder, select "New," and then choose "Folder." Name it accordingly.

6. **Move Files:**
- Click and drag your sewing pattern files into the appropriate subfolders.
- This helps keep your patterns organized and easily accessible.

7. **Access Anywhere:**
- Google Drive is accessible from any device with internet access. You can view or download your patterns anytime, anywhere.
